RESPA Settlement Cost Booklet - Take 2

Sometimes I think it is HUD's mission to kill me. With all of the changes to the Good Faith Estimate and Settlement Statements, I've had many headaches the past few months. Yesterday, I wrote a blog stating HUD hadn't released the new Booklet yet. Then, just as it got uploaded to our website, HUD announces the release of the new Booklet. I guess the jokes on me.
You can download the new Booklet in an Adobe (pdf) version. You can also call HUD at 800-767-7468 to order them. I'm hearing (but haven't confirmed) that you can get 100 Booklets free per bank location. Give HUD a call and order them as soon as possible. You must begin providing the Booklets with all applications to purchase a home on January 2, 2010. That's just 2 weeks.
Remember, HUD spelled backwards is "DUH".
