NFIP Extended

By

In the March 6th blog we alerted you to the fact that the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) had expired.  Today I discovered, via a FEMA memo, that last week the Senate passed a five-day extension to the NFIP, allowing agents and brokers to write, renew or endorse NFIP policies through March 11th.  On March 11th, Congress passed, and the President signed, an extension of the NFIP through September 30, 2009.

Keeping you informed as promised!
